GROVES WINS AGAIN WHILST CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD CHANGES

Martin Groves and Adam Fleetwood had the best weekends at Wiscombe Park. Groves for another win – his second in just over a week, whilst Adam Fleetwood took home a second and a win to take the lead in the championship over Graeme Wight Jnr who took a 5th and a zero. Tim Mason though is doing what he needs to do which is get it up the hill without taking risks and walking away with the points rather than trying to hoon it for the win with the risk of putting it in the weeds. A second and a third meant he took the next best hoard of points home to Fleetwood, but interestingly enough, he is only 11 points back of the championship leader Fleetwood. Remember that this time last year Wight Jnr was not leading the championship, but the hills up and coming are hills that suit him, although Fleetwood will have something to say about that.... The 2003 Tran-X British Hill Climb Championship is turning into one of the most thrilling for many a year between the three of them!
